Donald F. Nori, Sr., 66, of Shippensburg, passed away Tuesday, April 17, 2018 in the Hershey Medical Center, with his loving family by his side.
Born Sunday, April 13, 1952 in Holidaysburg, PA. Donald was a son of the late Albert J. and Margaret Pasquini Nori.
He was the founder of Destiny Image Publishers in Shippensburg, which opened in January of 1983. Donald was a 1970 graduate of Hollidaysburg High School and a 1974 graduate of the former Shippensburg State Teacher College. He was a loving father, pastor and friend.
Donald is survived by his wife, Catherine A. Tascarella Nori; five sons, Jonathan I. Nori and his wife Sonya of Carlisle, Donald F. Nori, Jr. and his wife Jennifer, and Matthew J. Nori, all Shippensburg, Joel D. Nori of Charlotte, NC, and Stephan M. Nori of Phoenix, AZ; seven grandchildren, Aariana, Inara, Alyssa, Donald, III, Hannah, Garrett and William Nori; a twin brother, Ronald Nori and his wife Sue; two sisters, Emily Padamonsky and her husband Bill, and Debbie Glunt, all of Hollidaysburg; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Among his many writings, Don's heart is most captured by this passage: "His Life continuously rises in the hearts of the yielded, the broken, the faithful, the burning...you. Be at peace my son. I know your heart. It is just like mine."
A public memorial service will be held Saturday, April 21, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at World Harvest Outreach in Chambersburg.
