Donald Linard

Donald E. Linard, 77, of Shippensburg, passed away on February 2, 2024 at Select Specialty Hospital in Harrisburg, PA.
He was born in Gettysburg, PA, a son of Charles and Ruth Shetter Linard.
He was a 1964 graduate of Biglerville High School and served in the Pennsylvania Army National Guard. He was a Pennsylvania State Trooper and owner of Don’s Welding & Steel Supplies. Upon “retirement” he became a commercial driver. Don was a past member of Franklin County 4 Wheelers. In his younger days, he enjoyed Jeep climbing and racing. He was able to enjoy this hobby again in his later years by sponsoring his grandchildren.
He is survived by one daughter, Christine Linard; a son, Bradley (Stephanie) Linard; his grandchildren, Brooke (Nick Keffer) Johnson, Hunter (Hannah) Johnson, and Brodie, Bryton, and Bria Linard.
A private burial will be held by the family.
