Donald Keiter

Donald Lee “Don” Keiter, 76, of Shippensburg, passed away the morning of Monday, December 5, 2022 at his home.

He was born on March 26, 1946 in Carlisle, a son of the late Donald F. and Marie E. (Rhoades) Keiter.

Don was a 1966 graduate of the Big Spring High School and retired as a supervisor in 2010 from RSG Landscaping & Lawn Care, Concord VA. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and was a fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers, Penn State Nittany Lions, and NASCAR. Don was a member of the Hub City Club, American Legion Post #223, and the NRA.

He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Belinda J. “Lynn” (Foster) Keiter; two children, Scott (Allison) Keiter of Venice, FL and Sue (companion Kevin Fogle) Keiter of Shippensburg; seven grandchildren, Elizabeth, Benjamin, Noah, Silas, Joseph, Brandi, and Bailey; three great-grandchildren; and two nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Marlin Keiter.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 10, 2022 at 2:30 p.m. in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc., Shippensburg with Pastor Wayne Good officiating. Burial will follow in the Spring Hill Cemetery. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to one’s charity of choice.
