Della Ritchey

Della E. Ritchey, 94, of Roxbury, died Tuesday, August 3, 2010 in the Chambersburg Hospital.
Born January 21, 1916 in Mattawana, Mifflin County; she was a daughter of the late Israel and Rose Miller Harshbarger.
She was a member of the Otterbein United Methodist Church, Newburg. Della enjoyed crafts, baking and volunteering with the church’s food stand at the Shippensburg Fair.
In addition to her parents Della was preceded in death by her husband Walter A. Ritchey who died January 18, 2001, three sisters, one grandson and one great grandson.
She is survived by three sons; Walter A. Ritchey and his wife Regina of Orrstown, Richard Harshbarger of Lancaster, and William Harshbarger and his wife Eleanor of McVeytown, one daughter, Judy E. Heberlig and her husband Ronald of Newburg, three sisters; Gladys Rosenberg of Wisconsin, Sara Smith of Mattawana, and Pearl Boozel of McVeytown, 11 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and many nieces and nehews.
A viewing will be held Friday, August 6th from 6-8 p.m. and a service at 8 p.m. in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home Inc., Shippensburg with The Rev. Phyllis A. Hunter and The Rev. John A. Ile, Jr. officiating.

An additional viewing will be held Saturday, August 7th from 12-1 p.m. and a service at 1 p.m. in the Harshbarger Funeral Home, McVeytown with The Rev. John A. Ile, Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery.
