David Philip Varner, 56, of Shippensburg, passed away Sunday, June 18, 2017 at his home.
Born Tuesday, January 24, 1961 in Bar-le-Duc, France, he was a son of David L. and Bernadette L. Gardel Varner of Shippensburg.
David served in the United States Navy. He worked as a truck driver for various trucking companies in the area.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by a sister; Veronica M. (husband Darryl) Seeders; a niece, Nicole M. (husband Jesse) Godfrey; a nephew, Jeremiah K. “Miah” Seeders, all of Shippensburg and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium with the Rev. Daniel E. Cluck officiating. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Wednesday in the funeral home.
