David Shields

David Lee Shields, 45, Newburg, died Saturday, May 28, 2016 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Born Sunday, December 13, 1970, in Carlisle, he was a son of Charles James and Eileen Kathryn Shirley Shields.
David was a 1990 graduate of the Shippensburg Area Senior high School. He was a social member of the Oscar M. Hykes American Legion Post # 223, Shippensburg. David was an avid hunter and loved his trucks.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife of 16 years, Billie Jo Singer Shields, two daughters; Kilee M. Singer, and Sara E. Shields, one grandson, Kaedyn L. Gossert, all of Newburg, one brother, James R. Shields, and one sister, Charlene K. Shields, both of Shippensburg, and several nieces and nephews
David was preceded in death by his brother, Charles E. Shields who died, February 19, 2013.
Funeral services will be held Friday, June 3, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home Inc., with Pastor Wayne A. Good officiating. Burial will be in Air Hill Cemetery. A visitation will be held Thursday, from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
