David Sandoval

David Anthony Sandoval, 58, of Upper Strasburg Road, Pleasant Hall, died Saturday, December 15, 2012 at his home.

Born Sunday, September 19, 1954 in Nashville, TN, he was a son of the late Julia A. and Lorraine Vannetta Sandoval.

David was a Christian and a United States Army Veteran. He loved fishing, playing cards and going to the casino. He especially loved spending time with his family.
He enjoyed reading and writing poetry and actually had published a few poems of his own.

Surviving are three daughters; Andrea Marie Elzokm of Brookhaven, Valerie R. West and her husband Robert of Roxbury and Lori A. Sandoval and her companion Bruce W. Perry of Pleasant Hall; one brother; Thomas Sandoval; three sisters, Helen Chavez, Patricia Sandoval and Susan Sandoval all in the State of California, eight grandchildren, two great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Sandra Sandoval and a brother in-law and best friend, David Wallace.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home Inc. with Pastor Staci Geesaman officiating with military honors conducted by the Shippensburg Veterans Council following the service. Burial will be private. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Wednesday in the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army, 1300 S. Lewis St., Anaheim, CA 92805.
