David E. Russell, 80, of Chambersburg, formerly of Shippensburg, died Monday, March 7, 2011 in Manorcare, Chambersburg.
Born February 26, 1931 in Shippensburg, he was a son of the late Frank and Elsie Coffey Russell.
David retired from the H.J. Heinz Company and the T.B. Woods both in Chambersburg.
He was preceded in death by his wife Hazel M. Kane Russell who died July 17, 2002.
He is survived by one son, Donald Russell of Carlisle, two step daughters; Shelly Ott and Barbara Timmons both of Chambersburg, two grandchildren, and four step grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held Friday, March 11, 2011 in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home Inc., Shippensburg at 3 p.m. Officiating will be The Rev. Garry L. Kipe. There will be no viewing or visitation.
