David Mcbeth

David L. McBeth, 66, of Walnut Bottom, died Monday, January 13, 2014 in the Chambersburg Hospital.

He was born October 5, 1947 in Chambersburg, PA. David was a son of the late Kenneth H. and Madonna Bascom McBeth.

He owned and operated McBeth’s Electrical and Plumbing in Walnut Bottom. David was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church, Walnut Bottom, South Newton Township Volunteer Fire Company, Walnut Bottom and the Walnut Bottom Rod and Gun Club. He was a graduate of Big Spring High School and the Shippensburg State Teachers College.

He is survived by one brother, Ronald E. McBeth of Shippensburg.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 23, 2014 in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home, Shippensburg at 2 p.m. Officiating will be The Rev. Harold A. Bolyard. Burial will be private. A viewing will be held Wednesday evening from 6-8 p.m. in the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the South Newton Township Volunteer Fire Company, P.O. Box 49, Walnut Bottom, PA 17266.
