David R. Koons, Jr., 77, resident of Laurel Lakes Nursing Home, passed away the morning of Thursday, December 3, 2020 at the Chambersburg Hospital.
He was born Wednesday, December 16, 1942 in Chambersburg, a son of the late David R. and Esther M. (Lawyer) Koons Sr.
David attended the Shippensburg Community Church and was a member of the Minnequa Social Club 375.
He is survived by three sisters, Patricia A. Hamsher of Orrstown, Joann E. Henderson of Chambersburg, and Linda K. Moats of Orrstown.
Private graveside services will be held at the Norland Cemetery with Rev. Maynard Jones officiating.
