David is survived by his wife, Leslie A. (Favata) Heckman, two sons, Anthony A. & Vincent T. Adams of Shippensburg, four siblings, Rick R. Heckman of Chambersburg, Randy L. Heckman of Shippensburg, Barbara K. Heckman of Hershey and Charles L. Heckman, Jr. of Shippensburg and his niece and nephews, Travis and Chase Heckman, and Tiffany Ely.

If you knew David, you know his heart was kind and that he would do anything he could to help anyone in need. He loved to do anything outdoors, including spending as much time as he possibly could at the family cabin “Lucky Buck Camp”. He loved racing and anything to do with it. David was most certainly THE jack of all trades and hobbies. He will be truly missed by many, but never forgotten. David would most likely want you to know that he’s “Gone Fishin”.
A private viewing will be held in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium, Shippensburg.
