David Deal

David E. Deal, 60, of Shippensburg, PA, died Sunday, March 6, 2011 in his home.
David was born August 26, 1950 in Waynesboro, Franklin County, PA, he was a son of the late Clyde W. and Isabelle Sprenkle Deal.
He was the owner and operator of Ideal Heating and Air Conditioning in Shippensburg. David was a graduate of the Smithsburg High School and enjoyed gardening, cooking, crafts, fishing, hunting and trips to the beach.
He is survived by his companion, Kathy R. Barner Myers, one son, Joshua D. Deal and his wife Heather of Shippensburg, PA, three daughters; Amy R. Myers and her husband Jeffrey of Hagerstown, MD, Charity D. Rosenberry and her husband Steve of Dover, PA, and Amanda H. Deal of Chambersburg, PA, five grandchildren; Ashlee, Breanna, Joshua, Jr., Destinee, and Alyssa, his companions children; Kara, Kelsey, and Colin Myers all of Shippensburg, PA, three brothers; Jerry Deal of Boonsboro, MD, Timothy Deal, and Dennis Deal both of Smithsburg, MD, three sisters; Doris Kershner of Berryville, VA, Sandra Deal of Missoula, MT, and Barbara Gardenhour of Smithsburg, MD.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 9, 2011 at 11 a.m. in the Prince Street United Brethren Church in Shippensburg, PA. Officiating will be The Rev. James O. Bolich. Burial will be in Parklawns Memorial Gardens. A viewing will be held Tuesday evening from 6-8 p.m. in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home Inc., Shippensburg.
