Darren Lynn Bryan, 50, of Shippensburg, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, July 9, 2021 in Mechanicsburg, PA.
Born Wednesday, November 25, 1970 in Chambersburg, he was a son of Barbara Ann Bechtel Bryan of Shippensburg, and the late James Harold Bryan.
Darren was a 1989 graduate of the Shippensburg High School. He was presently a Construction Foreman for East Coast Contracting, New Cumberland, with over 25 years of service.
He was a member of the Durff-Kuhn VFW Post # 6168, the Minnequa Social Club where he served as a board member. Darren enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding motorcycles, spending time at Bill Noll’s Cabin. In his younger years, he loved playing baseball, especially pitching.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by one son, Damon L. Bryan; two sisters, Kimberly A. (husband Ron) Cressler, and Christina N. (husband Jason) Lynch; one brother, Rodney P. Bryan, all of Shippensburg; one niece, Emmalee A. Lynch; one nephew, Levi J. (wife Natasha) Cressler; two great nieces, Sadie I. and Zoe G. Cressler, all of Shippensburg; also surviving is his companion, Judi L. Blosser of Shippensburg.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Lester and Margaret Bryan, and maternal grandparents, Herman and Esther Bechtel.
Funeral services will be held Friday, July 16, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium Inc., with Pastor Vic Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery. A viewing will be held Thursday, from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. and one hour prior to the service on Friday in the funeral home.
