Dana P. “Bill” Richardson, 74, of Shippensburg, died Wednesday, July 6, 2016 in the Chambersburg Hospital.
Bill was born May 29, 1942 in Shippensburg, Cumberland County. He was a son of the late Paul D. and Zola M. Hockenberry Richardson.

Bill drove truck for Gabler Trucking for over 25 years and then drove 7 years for Cressler Trucking before retiring.

He is survived by his wife, Hazel V. Witter Richardson, one brother, Frank Richardson of Chambersburg, four sisters, Pam Cook of Chambersburg, Kandy Gilbert of Shippensburg, Lori Hampton of Chambersburg, and Dixie Richardson of Shippensburg, and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Ronald Richardson.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 12, 2016 in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium, Shippensburg at 11 a.m. with military services to follow. Officiating will be The Rev. Steven R. Witter. A graveside service will be held in the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday afternoon. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the services in the funeral home Tuesday morning.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Minute Men of the American Legion, c/o Herbert Sommerville, 100 Dykeman Road, Shippensburg, PA 17257.
