Dale E. Yocum, 91, a resident of Brookview Menno Haven, and formerly of Shippensburg, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 25, 2021.
Born Saturday, November 9, 1929 in Shippensburg, he was the son of the late Frank E. and Isabel Bowermaster Yocum.
Dale attended the Shippensburg Area Senior High School and regularly attended the Prince Street United Brethren Church in Shippensburg.
He retired in January of 1985 from the U.S. Government at Letterkenny Army Depot with 33 years of service, 30 years with the Security Division and the last three years with the Depot Systems Command as a Security Specialist.
He was a United States Army Veteran, serving in both Germany and Okinawa.
He is survived by only a few nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Rhea E. Myers Yocum whom passed away August 16, 2020; three sisters and two brothers.
Funeral services and burial will be private.
