Dale Kendall

March 15, 1932 — December 18, 2010

Dale E. Kendall Sr., 78, a resident at The Village of Laurel Run and formerly of Shippensburg Mobile Estates, died Saturday, December 18, 2010 in the Chambersburg Hospital.
Born March 15, 1932 in Newville, he was a son of the late Arthur Rosevelt and Effie Elizabeth Cover Kendall.
Dale was a member of the Mainsville United Brethren Church. He retired in 1996 from Carlisle Tire and Rubber after 25 years of service. Dale was a United States Army Veteran serving during the Korean War.
Surviving is one son; Dale E. Kendall Jr. and his wife Joy, Newburg, two daughters; Betty E. Martin and her husband Arthur, Newburg and Linda D, Brown, Shippensburg, two sisters; Vivian Swanger, Mechanicsburg and Vesta Jane Zinn, Carlisle, one brother; Bobby W. Kendall, Gardners, five grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Nancy J. Heefner Kendall who died November 29, 1997
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 21, 2010 at 10:30 AM in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home Inc. with the Rev. Robert L. Mentzer officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Quincy, PA. Viewings will be held Monday from 6:00 until 8:00 PM and one hour prior to the service Tuesday in the funeral home.
