Daisy C. Mowery, 92, of Shippensburg, passed away Thursday, March 29, 2018 at the Chambersburg Hospital.
Born Sunday, December 20, 1925 in Shippensburg, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Anna Varner Hancock.
Daisy was a member of the Prince Street United Brethren Church, Shippensburg.
She is survived by one son, Darryl L. (Barbara) Mowery, Shippensburg; one daughter, Carol A. (Jeff) Peters, Chambersburg; three grandsons, Kip Peters, Upper Strasburg, Cleadis Peters, Chambersburg, and Kyle Mowery, Shippensburg; seven great grandchildren, and one brother, Howard Hancock, Shippensburg.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack S. Mowery, who died in July, 2000, one son, Randall W. Mowery, who died in 2009, one great granddaughter, Kaitlyn Peters, two brothers, and five sisters.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, April 7, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in Spring Hill Cemetery, with the Rev. James O. Bolich officiating.
