Crystal B. Wilson, 92, of Walnut Bottom, died on the evening of Friday, March 28, 2014, at the Shippensburg Health Care Center.
She was born on December 25, 1921, in South Newton Twp., a daughter of the late Harry N. and Rachel V. Gardner Brannan.
Crystal was employed for many years at the former L’Aiglon Mfg., Shippensburg and then worked in the Dietary Department at the former Carlisle Hospital, retiring in 2001.
She was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church, Walnut Bottom, the Trinity United Methodist Women, and was a member of the Order of Eastern Star, Martha Custis Chapter #342, Chambersburg.
Crystal is survived by her daughter, Sally (Mitchell) Sandlin of Chambersburg; two sons, Jerry L. (Lisa) Wilson of Newville and Harold G. (Nancy) Wilson of Shippensburg; five grandchildren; one sister, Betty Enders of Carlisle; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Crystal was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn C. Wilson, who died in January of 1984; a daughter in infancy; two brothers; and three sisters.
Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Tuesday, April 1, 2014, at the Trinity United Methodist Church, Walnut Bottom. The Rev. Harold A. Bolyard, Jr., will officiate. Interment will follow in the Rehoboth Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at church on Tuesday.
