Crystal Thelma Craig

Crystal Thelma Craig, 95, of Shippensburg, passed away Friday, September 6, 2024 at the Chambersburg Hospital.

Born Sunday, August 25, 1929 in Chambersburg, she was a daughter of the late Rankin and Nellie Vannant Shoap.

She enjoyed puzzle books, and sitting on her front porch watching the deer.

Crystal is survived by one son, Barry A. (Deanna) Craig, Shippensburg; two daughters, Darla F. (Bill) Hoch, Newburg, and Kathy L. Craig, Chambersburg; ten grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Galen W. Craig, who passed away March 31, 1998; one daughter, April Craig; one sister, Mabel Mooney; and two brothers, Roy and Stuart Shoap.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, September 11, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. in Spring Hill Cemetery, with Pastor Bruce Levy officiating. There will be no viewing or visitation.
