Conrad “Lee” Ocker, 65, of Shippensburg, passed away Tuesday, May 15, 2018 in the Hershey Medical Center with his loving family by his side.
He was born August 25, 1952 in Shippensburg, PA. Lee was a son of Emma Jane Fogelsanger Ocker and the late Paul E. Ocker.
He was a member of the Shippensburg First Church of God. Lee worked for over 35 years for ABF Freight, Carlisle and was a member of the Central PA Teamsters. He was previously employed as a milk hauler, farmer and was an accomplished brick, block and stone mason. Lee coached Little League Baseball and youth wrestling and football.
He enjoyed the outdoors, gardening and completing the restoration of a log home originally built in 1744. Time spent with family was his greatest joy on earth. Lee and Debbie recently celebrated 45 years of marriage.
In addition to his mother, Lee is survived by his wife, Debra K. Daihl Ocker, two sons, Bradley Lee (Melissa) Ocker and Michael Lee (Krista) Ocker, two grandchildren, Kloe’ and Luke Ocker, two brothers, Phillip (Judy) Ocker and Fred (Lisa) Ocker, three sisters, Linda (Danny) Forrester, Diane (Laverne) Musser and Beverly (Ben) Musser and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 19, 2018 at 2 p.m. in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium, Shippensburg. Officiating will be The Rev. Wayne A. Good and Mr. Gary E. Hornbaker. Burial will be in the Spring Hill Cemetery. A viewing will be held Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. in the funeral home.
