Clarence Oneil “COB” Baker, 89, of Orrstown, passed away the morning of Friday, October 1, 2021 at home with his wife by his side.
He was born on April 17, 1932 in McEwen, TN, a son of the late William J. and Mildred Baker.
COB retired as a construction foreman of 35 years with Tripp Construction Company. The last 30 years he spent working self-employed as a heavy equipment operator. COB enjoyed his visits with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He also loved deer hunting and watching wildlife on their property. COB was a 50-year member of the Orrstown Lodge #262 Free & Accepted Masons and the Valley Forest #145 Tall Cedars of Lebanon.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Linda Lorah Baker; three children, William J. Baker, Deidre (Dave) Shertz, and Donna Hill; six grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; three brothers; and one sister.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc. with Rev. Dr. Robert S. Beall officiating. Entombment will follow in the Parklawns Memorial Gardens & Mausoleum. A viewing will be held two hours prior to the service in the funeral home with a Masonic Service being held at 11:30 a.m.
