Charlotte L. Winters, 79, of Shippensburg, passed away the morning of Saturday, October 28, 2023 at the Shippensburg Health Care Center.
She was born on June 14, 1944 in Mainsville, the daughter of the late Robert and Vivian (Piper) Gilbert. She married Wayne C. Winters on May 6, 1967. He preceded her in death on September 18, 2023.
Charlotte worked as a cook at The Episcopal Home in Shippensburg for many years. She loved and cherished spending time with her family.
She is survived by her daughter, Dena McKee and husband Tom of Orrstown; two granddaughters, Katlyn McKee and fiancé Jeremiah Snyder of Fayetteville and Kristen Moe and husband James of Chambersburg; and one brother, Donnie (Patty) Gilbert of Mainsville.
In addition to her parents and spouse, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Bobby, Ronnie, and Bill Gilbert.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc, Shippensburg. Per Charlotte’s wishes, there will be no public viewing, visitation, or service.
