Charles Leon Neil, 56, of Carlisle, passed away Sunday, January 17, 2016 at his home.
Born Thursday, October 8, 1959 in Chambersburg, he was a son of the late Joseph Charles Neil and Shirley Elizabeth Parks Neil of Newville.
Charles worked in the maintenance department at the Holiday Inn, Carlisle. He was a social member of the Oscar M. Hykes American Legion Post # 223 Shippensburg. He was a good man with a kind heart and will be missed dearly by all that knew him.
Surviving are two daughters; Alana M. Neil, of Orrstown, and Beth A. Neil, of Shippensburg, three grandson; Caleb T. Houser, of Orrstown, Zachary D. Nispel, and Grayson L. Weidman, both of Shippensburg, two brothers; Anthony L. Neil, Sr., of Newville, and Jeffrey J. Neil, Sr., of Saxton, one sister, Audrey M. Neil, of Newville, and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Kevin L. Neil.
Funeral services and burial will be private. A viewing will be held Tuesday, January 26, 2016 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home Inc.
