Charles B. Cisney, Jr., 83, of Orrstown, died on Friday, June 25, 2010 at the Chambersburg Hospital.
Born on February 25, 1927 in Shippensburg, a son of the late Charles B. and Daisy Parson Cisney, Sr.
Charles was a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II, enlisting on May 10, 1945 and honorably discharged on February 6, 1947.
He was employed as a truck driver for the Charles Karper Company for 42 years.
Charles is survived by his wife of 61 years, Lucy; two sons, Charles Rodney (Yong) Cisney and Jeffrey L. (Vickie) Cisney, both of Orrstown; and three granddaughters, Jennifer M. Cisney of Rochester, NY, Emily D. Cisney of Frederick, MD, and Tabitha L. Cisney of Orrstown.
He was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.
Graveside funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 30, 2010 at the Pleasant Hall Cemetery. The Rev. Robert Conway will officiate. The Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
His family requests the omission of flowers.
