Catherine Rosella Ott, 90, of Shippensburg, passed away on Sunday, July 14, 2024 at the Chambersburg Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Born, Saturday, November 11, 1933, she was a daughter of the late Robert and Mays (Stine) Shannon.
Catherine spent time working as a production worker for the Mussleman Factory. Throughout her life, she always liked to cook and made the best homemade bread. She went to many yard sales and enjoyed watching “Days of our Lives” on TV. Above all else, she loved spending time with her family and taking care of her grandchildren.
She is survived by two daughters, Julie Ott and Cindy Brechbiel; a son Jerry Ott; twelve grandchildren, Anna and husband Michael Meredith, Jeremy and wife Andrea Ott, Brandon Ott, Adam Ott, Autumn Ott, Gary Wright, Norm Wright III, Michael Nehf II, Chris Neil, Jr., Teresa Warren, Ray Brechbiel, Kimberly, and Brenda; and many great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband, James Eber Ott; a daughter, Mary Ott; and a son, James Ott, Jr.
Catherine’s funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc. Shippensburg. Private services will be held at a later date and time by her family.
