Catherine E. Bilger, 80, of Water Street, Walnut Bottom, died Saturday, July 3, 2010 in the Forest Park Health Center, Carlisle.
Born March 22, 1930 in Philadelphia, she was a daughter of the late Maurice and Madeline R. McClister Goloff.
Catherine was a member of Our Lady of the Visitation Catholic Church and the Durff-Kuhn VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post #6168 both in Shippensburg.
Surviving are four sons; William M. Bilger and his wife Linda and Robert J. Bilger all of Shippensburg, John J. Bilger and his wife Monica of Willow Hill and Joseph F. Bilger and his wife Sherrie of Walnut Bottom, two daughters; Madeline C. McBeth and her husband Ronald of Shippensburg and Kathleen E. Cook of Walnut Bottom, 22 grandchildren and 48 great grandchildren
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 41 years William F. Bilger who died November 12, 1983, two sisters and two brothers.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, July 12, 2010 at 10:00 A.M. in Our Lady of the Visitation Catholic Church with Father Dave A. Hillier officiating. Burial will be private in the Spring Hill Cemetery. A viewing will be held Sunday from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home.
