Carol Reilly

Carol Ann Reilly, 81, of Shippensburg, departed this life on the evening of Friday, June 7, 2024, at the WellSpan York Hospital.

She was born on February 26, 1943, in Syracuse, NY, the daughter of the late John and Vivian (Clemons) German. Carol was a 1961 graduate of Fayetteville-Manlius High School. She married Charles H. Reilly, Jr., on February 9, 1963, in Manlius, NY.

Carol was employed as an Administrative Assistant for the Chittenango School District for many years. She and Charles enjoyed traveling throughout east coast, camping in their motor home. Carol loved animals and kept cats and dogs her entire life. She enjoyed playing Farmville on the computer. Carol was a member of the Our Lady of the Visitation Catholic Church, Shippensburg.

In addition to her husband of sixty-one years, Charles, she is survived by two daughters, Tracey H. Reilly and husband David Longden of Bridgeport, WV and Kelley Ann Reilly and partner Melanie of Madison, ME; her brother, James German and wife Nancy of Chittenango, NY; and several nieces and nephews.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Thursday, June 13, 2024, in the Our Lady of the Visitation Catholic Church, Shippensburg. Father Benjamin Dunkelberger will officiate. Private interment will be in the Ft. Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. Viewing will be held one hour prior to the service on Thursday morning at the church.
