Carma L. Runshaw, 91, of Shippensburg, passed away Thursday, September 17, 2020 at home.
She was born January 2, 1929 on the Duncan Road, Shippensburg, PA. Carma was a daughter of the late Samuel E. and Zora J. Crusey Wenger.
She was a member of the Shippensburg Church of the Brethren. Carma retired from the Stanley Company, Chambersburg.
In addition to her parents, Carma was preceded in death by her husband of 72 years, John Runshaw, Jr. who passed away August 24, 2020. Her son, Dean E. Runshaw, an infant brother, Roy Wenger and three sisters, Marie Cook, Caroline Eller and Sandra Spoonhour are also deceased.
Carma is survived by one son, David E. Runshaw and his wife Dremah; one daughter-in-law, Sherry Runshaw; four grandchildren, Amy Pensinger, John E. Runshaw, Holly Hockenberry and James David Runshaw; six great-grandchildren, Christian, Joey, Lars, Nick, Grant and Samuel; eleven siblings, Janet Friese, Samuel Wenger, Jr., Freda Kyner, Velva Kyner, Miriam Barnhart, L. Kenneth Wenger, Leora Andrews, John Wenger, James Edward Wenger, Barbara Newcomer and Rodney Wenger; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday, September 22, 2020 in the Mongul Cemetery at 11:00 a.m. Officiating will be The Rev. Clarence D. Stouffer. A viewing will be held Monday evening from 6-7 p.m. in the Remembrance Chapel of the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium, Shippensburg. Due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, the immediate family will not be present during the evening viewing.
