C. Arlene Burns, 66, of Marco Circle, Shippensburg, died Monday, November 9, 2015 at her home.
Born Monday, May 6, 1949 in Chambersburg, she was the daughter of Wilbur W. and Margaretta Louise Carmack Kennedy, and the wife of the late Joseph P. Burns who passed away March 4, 2010.
Catherine was a 1967 graduate of the Chambersburg Area Senior High School. She enjoyed scrapbooking, gardening, collecting Garfield memorabilia & lighthouses. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by two daughters, Dorothy S. (husband Lloyd) Harnish of Dillsburg, and Lesley J. (husband Dave) Johnson of Shippensburg, one brother, Terry Lee (wife Diane) Kennedy of Blairs Mills, eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
There will be no funeral services although a viewing will be held Thursday, November 12, 2015 from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m. in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home Inc. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The American Heart Association, 1019 Mumma Road, Wormlesburg, PA 17043 or The Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, P.O. Box 650309 Dallas, TX 75265-0309.
