Bruce "Jimmy" Alexander, Jr.

Bruce “Jimmy” Alexander, Jr., 63, of Newburg, passed away the evening of Saturday, August 24, 2024.

He was born on April 18, 1961 in Chambersburg, a son of the late Bruce and Janet Runk Alexander, Sr.

Jimmy was an exceptional contractor, working for various employers throughout his working years. He also owned and operated his own general contracting business for over 10 years. Jimmy was a skilled woodworker who enjoyed building gun cabinets and going hunting. 

He is survived by two sons, Cory Alexander of Shippensburg and Dylan Alexander of Newburg; four siblings, Jeff (Martha) Alexander of Shippensburg, Gary Alexander of Shippensburg, Diane (Mike) Osbaugh of Newburg, and Wanda Schiller of New Jersey; and his former wife with whom he remained close friends with, Tammy Alexander. 

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc., Shippensburg. Per Jimmy’s wishes, there will be no public viewing or visitation. A celebration of life will be held at a later date and time.
