Brian W. Rice, 74, of Shippensburg, passed away the morning of Sunday, February 6, 2022 at his home.
He was born on July 22, 1947 in Chambersburg, a son of the late Darius E. and Audrey J. (Grove) Rice.
Brian retired as a Federal Programs Manager for the U.S. Department of Labor and Industry. He enjoyed playing the organ and piano. Brian was a member of the Camp Hill United Methodist Church and the American Guild of Organists.
He is survived by his sister, Deborah (Nelson) Christman of Chambersburg; one niece, Michelle (Jeremy) Kelso of Newburg; and one nephew, Greg Heberlig of Shippensburg.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 11, 2022 at 2:30 p.m. in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc. with Rev. Harold E. Yeager officiating. Burial will follow in the Ridge Church Cemetery. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Camp Hill United Methodist Church, 417 S. 22nd St. Camp Hill, PA 17011 or to The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) at aspca.org.
