Brent Ramsay Conner, 56, of Shippensburg, and formerly of Hagerstown, MD, assumed room temperature on Wednesday, April 2, 2025 at the Chambersburg Hospital.
Born Friday, February 14, 1969 in Richmond, VA, he was a son of Shirley Councilman Rich, of Hagerstown, MD, and the late Elvis Robert “Bobby” Rich.
He was a 1987 graduate of Catoctin High School, Thurmont, MD. He retired from the Maryland-National Capital Park & Planning Commission as a Contract Specialist.
After retirement, Brent enjoyed antique shopping, exploring Pennsylvania’s country roads, hunting, and watching his favorite band, Sticktime, at the Ott House, Emmitsburg, MD.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife of 12 years, Victoria Kay Gimmi Conner, whom he married June 12, 2012; two daughters, Rylie Elizabeth Conner, Columbia, MD, and Delaney Marie Conner, Boonsboro, MD; two step children, Bree Elizabeth Wright, Winchester, VA, and Keenan Scott Wright, Shippensburg; two brothers, Gordon (Rhonda) Conner, and Warren Conner (Jeffrey Jensen), Perry Hall, MD; father in-law, Robert D. Gimmi, Shippensburg; two sisters-in-law, Kristen Weekley, Pennsboro, WV, and Heather (Galen) Kipe, Shippensburg; and three special friends, Jason (Colette) Petras, Hagerstown, MD, and Diane Atwell, Fayetteville, and numerous nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind his favorite dogs, Aiko, Elke, and his bird, Willow.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his mother in-law, Carol K. Gimmi.
Thanks to Brent’s generosity and thoughtfulness, he continues to give life through organ donation.
A celebration of life service will be held Saturday, April 12, 2025 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Oscar M. Hykes American Legion Post # 223, 100, Dykeman Road, Shippensburg, PA 17257
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 4250 Crums Mill Road, Suite 100, Harrisburg, PA 17112.
There will be no viewing or visitation.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium Inc.
