Brandy Guyer

Brandy Jo Guyer, 29, of Kuhn Road, Greencastle, died suddenly on Thursday, May 2, 2013.

Born Sunday, November 13, 1983 in Chambersburg, she was the daughter of Todd Eugene Guyer and Kimberly A. Johnson both of Newburg.

Brandy was of the Lutheran Faith. She was a United States Army Veteran serving in the Iraq War as a Combat Medic.

She was a 2001 graduate of Chambersburg Senior High School and was presently attending classes at HACC. Brandy was employed at Pinnacle Health Harrisburg as a Surgical Processor. She loved and cherished her children and family.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her two children, Ariyana Nakole and Carter Joseph, her fiancé, of two years, Joshua M. Statler of Greencastle, two half brothers, Tucker Rae Guyer and Shane William Johnson, and one half sister, Shian Lea Guyer, step mother, Lori Ann Guyer, step father, Anthony W. Johnson, Jr. all of Newburg; maternal grandfather, Thomas A. Graham, Jr. of Orrstown, paternal grandparents, Lester and Polly Bryan of Newburg; and maternal step grandparents, Anthony and Kathryn Johnson of Upper Strasburg; and David and Joan Kauffman of Chambersburg.

Brandy was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Dorothy M. Graham and one cousin, Lori M. Adams.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home Inc. with Pastor Dennis Adams officiating. Burial will be in Parklawns Memorial Gardens with military honors conducted by the Shippensburg Veterans Council. A viewing will be held Monday, from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. and one hour prior to the service on Tuesday in the funeral home.
