Bradley Plasterer Coldsmith, 68, a resident of the Falling Spring Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, departed this life on the Morning of Monday, February 15, 2016.
He was born on July 17, 1947, in Shippensburg, a son of the late Wayne and Evelyn Plasterer Coldsmith, Sr.
For most of his life, Bradley lived on the family farm and thoroughly enjoyed doing the chores and tending to the farm animals. He also did some trucking of oil, and also for Benders, for a period of time. Bradley attended the Mt. Vernon Christian Missionary Church, Shippensburg.
He is survived by five siblings, Clifford (Faye) Coldsmith of Shippensburg, Frank (Ruth) Coldsmith of Shippensburg, Violet Walters of Dry Run, Rev. Reuben (Bonnie) Coldsmith of Chambersburg, and Ray (Bonnie) Coldsmith of Shippensburg; sister-in-law, Rosemary Coldsmith of Shippensburg; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Bradley was preceded in death by one brother, Wayne Coldsmith, Jr., who died on November 4, 2006.
His funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Thursday, February 18, 2016, at the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home, Inc., Shippensburg. Bradley’s brother, the Rev. Reuben Coldsmith will officiate. Interment will follow in the Salem Cemetery. Viewing will be one hour prior to the funeral service on Thursday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a favorite charity of one’s choice.
