Bonnie K. Melius, 69, of Orrstown, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 1, 2021 in the Chambersburg Hospital.
Bonnie was born Thursday, April 10, 1952 in Chambersburg, PA. She was a daughter of the late Lawrence L. and Mary (Johnson) Rhinehart.
She was a member of the Upper Strasburg Church of God.
Bonnie is survived by her husband, Larry D. Melius; four children, Dave L. (Carrie) Miller and their children, Christopher, Samantha, Harley, Josh, Alanna, Jason, Emily, Cameron and Colton Miller of Newburg, Wayne E. (Janell) Miller and their children, Kylee, Paige, Corrine and Athan Miller, Robert L. Hummer and his children, Calison and Ireland Hummer and Crystal R. (Brad) Kirby and their children, Derrick, Kirsten and Kara Kirby,all of Shippensburg; a nephew whom they raised, John Rhinehart of Orrstown; one brother, Lawrence E. Rhinehart of Shippensburg; one sister, Brenda S. Hartmire of Three Springs; and a number of nieces and nephews. Bonnie loved her two furry friends, Maya and Coco. She was preceded in death by an infant sister.
Private funeral services will be held in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium, Shippensburg. Officiating will be Pastor Tim Redmond. Burial will be in the Spring Hill Cemetery.
