Blanche Martin

Blanche L. Martin, 83 of 3001 Luther Drive, Chambersburg, died Wednesday, October 13, 2010 in the Chambersburg Hospital.

Born December 16, 1926 in Chambersburg, she was a daughter of the late Menno and Anna Mary Barkdoll Landis.

Blanche was a member of the Rowe Mennonite Church.

Surviving are three sons; Vincent R. Martin and his wife Anna, Chambersburg, Eric L. Martin, Shippensburg and Curtis L. Martin, Irving TX, two daughters; Christine A. Diller and her husband Daryl, Doylesburg and Susan E. Funk and her husband Dana, Chambersburg, four brothers; Menno Landis, Chambersburg, Daniel Landis, Philadelphia, Richard Landis, Lancaster and Ray Landis Edmonton, Canada, one sister, Charlotte Martin, Chambersburg, 19 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, the Rev Ellis L. Martin who died March 25, 2004, a son Bryan K. Martin who died in 1984, a sister Lois Keefer and a brother Robert Landis.

Funeral services will be held Monday, October 18, 2010 at 10:00 A.M. in the Rowe Mennonite Church, Shippensburg with Bishops Allen Martin, Kenneth Wadel and Mark Gayman and Rev. John Horst officiating. Burial will be in the Rowe Mennonite Cemetery. Visitation will be held Sunday from 5:00 until 8:00 P.M. in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home Inc., Shippensburg.
