Betty L. Rhinehart, 81, a resident of the Claremont Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Carlisle for over 34 years, formerly of Shippensburg died Sunday, April 25, 2010.
Born June 21, 1928 in Shippensburg, PA; she was a daughter of the late George E. and Zora A. Nehf Rhinehart.
She was a member of the Prince Street United Brethren Church, Shippensburg.
She is survived by two sisters; Doris (Richard) Coleman of Chambersburg and Joan Serino of Shippensburg, a brother Robert (Peggy) Rhinehart of Shippensburg, and will be sadly missed by three special nieces; Chris Staver, Julie Serino, and Jeane Serino, two great nephews; Derek and Nick Staver, a great niece Jessica Serino, and many other nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two sisters; Catherine Rhine and Beatrice Newell, six brothers; William, Harold, George, Marlin, Ray, and Jay Rhinehart.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, May 1, 2010 in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home Inc., Shippensburg at 2:00 p.m. Officiating will be The Rev. Paul Hauk. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery. There will be no viewing however a visitation will be held one hour prior to the services in the funeral home on Saturday.
