Betty Louise Perry, 93, of Shippensburg, died Monday, December 7, 2015 in the Village of Laurel Run, Fayetteville.
She was born Wednesday, October 5, 1922 in Shippensburg, PA. Betty was a daughter of the late Howard and Florence Crusey Johnston.
She was a member of Mt. Pleasant United Brethren Church, Chambersburg. Years ago Betty worked for both Penn Pants in Shippensburg and the Stanley Company in Chambersburg.
She is survived by three sons, John E. (Sue) Perry, Jr. of Leesville, Louisiana, William H. (Debbie) Perry, and Richard L. “Dick” (Debra) Perry all of Shippensburg, one daughter, Florence E. (Glen) Horn of Star City, Arkansas, 16 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, John E. Perry, Sr., one son, Barry E. Perry, Sr., one daughter, Gloria Jean Gilbert, two brothers, and one sister.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 12, 2015 in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home, Shippensburg at 10:00 a.m. Officiating will be The Rev. Garry L. Culler. Burial will be held in Spring Hill Cemetery. A viewing will be held Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. in the funeral home.
