Betty L. Miller, 85, of Shippensburg, died Tuesday, May 14, 2013 in the Falling Spring Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born June 23, 1927 in Newville, Cumberland County. Betty was a daughter of the late Irwin and Pearl Neff Helman.
She was a member of Shippensburg First Wesleyan Church. Betty retired from the Housekeeping Department at the Beistle Company in Shippensburg. Years ago Betty worked at U-Wanna-Wash Frock Company in Newville. She was an avid Bingo player.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Ben M. Miller who died February 12, 1995. Four brothers are also deceased.
She is survived by two daughters, Wanda B. Brown and her husband Richard of Shippensburg, and Kimberly C. Greenawalt and her husband Clark of Newburg; three sons, Ben H. Miller and Alfie J. Miller and his wife Stephanie, all of Shippensburg, and Steven M. Miller and his wife Stephanie of Detroit, MI; six grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Friday, May 17, 2013 in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home Inc., Shippensburg at 10:30 a.m. Officiating will be The Rev. Stevan Sheets. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the services in the funeral home Friday morning.
