Betty May Fleming, 75, of Concord, Franklin County, died Monday, January 26, 2015 at her home.
Born Tuesday, January 16, 1940 in Burns Valley, Franklin County, she was a daughter of the late Charles Franklin and Lillian M. Worthington Hockenberry.
Betty was of the Protestant Faith. She worked at various restaurants before becoming a full time homemaker. Betty enjoyed all animals of life.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Bernard H. Fleming whom she married June 20, 1964, one daughter, Sylvia Jean Fleming of Shippensburg, and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by five brothers; Raymond Worthinton, Eugene, Clair, John and Myles Hockenberry and one sister, Janet Zeigler.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 29, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral home Inc., with the Rev. Marlin A. “Butch” Neil officiating. Burial will be private in Concord Union Cemetery. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service in the funeral home.
