Betty M. Chamberlin, 86, of Shippensburg, passed away Sunday, February 25, 2018 at the Chambersburg Hospital.
Born Wednesday, August 5, 1931 in Chambersburg, she was a daughter of the late Roy M. and Mary Snoke Davidson.
Betty was a member of the Middle Spring Presbyterian Church where she served as past Deacon. She was a lifelong farmer alongside her husband Clifford. Betty was a member of the Pennsylvania Farmers Association, and the Cumberland County Farm Women’s Society.
She is survived by three sons, Ronald E. (wife Frances) Chamberlin, Chambersburg, Terry L. (wife Kathy) Chamberlin, and Timothy C. (wife Cindy) Chamberlin, all of Shippensburg; one daughter, Connie M. (husband Morris) Watkins, Brownwood, TX; one sister, Fredith Diehl, Shippensburg; one brother, Kenneth W. (wife Gloria) Davidson, Reisterstown, MD; eight grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford E. Chamberlin, who passed away September 12, 2000, three brothers, Robert, Lee, and Jay Davidson, and one sister, Rhoda Carbaugh.
Funeral services will be held Friday, March 2, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. in the Middle Spring Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. Kimberley D. Wadlington officiating. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service on Friday in the Church.
