Betty E. Carbaugh, 77, of Shippensburg, died Thursday in the Falling Spring Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born October 26, 1935 in Shippensburg, Cumberland County. Betty was a daughter of the late Lester Adams and Kathleen Kriner Adams Wolfe.
She retired from Affiliated Industries, Shippensburg and was a member of the Freedom in Christ Church, Chambersburg,
Surviving are four sons, Samuel Carbaugh of Hagerstown, MD, Lee Carbaugh of Chambersburg, Roy Carbaugh of Shippensburg, and Brian Carbaugh of Spring Run; two daughters, Deborah Weaver and her husband Thomas and Tammy Coldsmith and her husband Paul all of Shippensburg; two brothers, Bruce and Richard Adams both of Carlisle; three sisters, Bessie Lewis of Salem IN, Gladys Ott of Shippensburg, and Bonnie Chestnut of Carlisle; 14 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by four brothers.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 21, 2013 in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home Inc., Shippensburg at 7 p.m. Officiating will be The Rev. John Pogue. Burial will be private. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the services in the funeral home Tuesday evening.
