Betty Ann Argenbright, 79, 600 Free Mason Drive, Elizabethtown, and formerly of Shippensburg, died Tuesday, June 4, 2013 in the Masonic Homes of Elizabethtown.
Born Sunday, April 8, 1934 in Chambersburg, she was a daughter of the late Clark E. and Hulda Comerer Crusey.
Betty was a 1952 graduate of the Chambersburg Area Senior High School. She retired as the Office Manager from the Super Fresh Market in Chambersburg.
Betty was a member of the Memorial Lutheran Church in Shippensburg and a member of the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary. Betty loved camping and fishing, especially salt water fishing at the beach.
Surviving is her husband of 60 years, Carl T. Argenbright, Elizabethtown, one daughter, Deborah A. Berkich of Middletown; one sister, Evelyn Christman of Chambersburg; two granddaughters, Kimberly M. Nagle of Mechanicsburg and Jennifer L. Berkich of Harrisburg and five great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Douglas A. Argenbright who died in September of 1985 and one sister, Lorraine Rosenberry.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 8, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home Inc., with the Rev. Dr. Brenda J. Kiser officiating. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service in the funeral home on Saturday.
