Bessie M. Stine, 96, a resident of Menno Haven, Chambersburg, died on Tuesday, October 18, 2011.
Born on August 31, 1915, in Cleversburg, PA, a daughter of the late James and Laura Kelly Stine. Bessie was a 1933 graduate of Chambersburg High School.
During her working years, Bessie was employed as a seamstress at the former Stanley Company, Chambersburg.
She was a long time member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Chambersburg, PA.
Bessie is survived by a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Ray and Robert Stine and three sisters, Hazel Shirk, Grace Detrich, and Bertha Stout.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Saturday, October 22, 2011, at the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home, Inc., Shippensburg. Interment will follow in the Cleversburg Cemetery. Viewing will be one hour prior to the services on Saturday, at the funeral home.
