Benjamin A. Fisher, 77, of 11130 Mowersville Road, Newburg, died Wednesday, December 11, 2013 at home.
He was born October 17, 1936 in Lancaster, PA. Benjamin was a son of the late John K. and Barbara E. Esh Fisher.
Benjamin was a self employed dairy farmer.
He is survived by his wife Lydia King Fisher; eight sons, David K. Fisher and his wife Waneta of Goshen IN, Raymond A. Fisher and his wife Katie, J. Stephen Fisher and his wife Linda, Mark A. Fisher and his wife Martha, and Ben Allen Fisher all of Newburg, Matthew A. Fisher and his wife Priscilla of Little Falls, NY, Daniel Luke Fisher and his wife Lori of Goshen, IN, and J. Samuel Fisher and his wife Suzanne of Newburg; 39 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; three brothers, Levi Fisher of Gap and his late wife Mary, Elmer Fisher of Kinzer and his late wife Naomi, and Daniel Fisher and his wife Kadie of Strasburg; three sisters, Susie King and her husband Jesse of Intercourse, Barbara King and her husband Omer of Coatesville, and Elizabeth Blank and her husband Crist of New Holland; two sisters-in-law, Lydia Fisher of Virginia wife of late brother, John, Anna Fisher of Elizabethville wife of late brother David; and his father-in-law, David King of Newburg. Benjamin was also preceded in death by a brother Stephen Fisher; and a sister, Sadie and her late husband Omer.
Funeral services will be held at noon Friday, December 13, 2013 at the home of Steven Esh, 16417 Cumberland Highway, Newburg, PA 17240. The viewing will be held from the time of this notice until Friday at 11 a.m. at Benjamin’s home, 11130 Mowersville Road, Newburg, PA 17240. Burial will be in Mountain View Amish Cemetery.
Benjamin’s family requests the omission of flowers due to religious reasons.
