Beatrice Myers

Beatrice E. Myers, 87, a resident of the Thornwald Home, Carlisle, died on Thursday, September 16, 2010.

Born in Newburg, on August 23, 1923, a daughter of the late John and Ethel Kumbler Heberlig.

Beatrice was primarily a homemaker throughout her life, but from 1958 to 1976, she worked at G.C. Murphy Co., Shippensburg. She was also a member of the Leesburg United Methodist Church for over 50 years.

Beatrice is survived by her son, George H. (Lilia) Davidson of Mt. Holly Springs; one step-son, Roger L. Myers; two step-daughters, Carolyn A. Nye and Donna M. Ott; 1 grandson, John W. Davidson; two great grandchildren; and one brother, Manfred Heberlig.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Glenn Davidson who died on July 23, 1974; her second husband, Wilbur H. Myers, who died on May 30, 1998; one brother; and one sister.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Wednesday, September 22, 2010, at the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home, Inc. The Rev. Anna L. Thompson will officiate. Interment will be in the Parklawns Memorial Gardens, Chambersburg. Viewing will be one hour prior to the services on Wednesday, at the funeral home.
