Barbara S. Noll

Barbara Sue (Hock) Noll, 75, of Shippensburg, passed away in the comfort of her own home on March 23, 2025, surrounded by her adoring family, whom she absolutely loved. Her favorite saying was, “Family is everything.”

Barbara was born on January 5, 1950 in Waynesboro, the daughter of the late Robert and Gladys (Stamy) Hock.

Barbara graduated from Chambersburg High School before attending Wilson College. She worked at J. Schoeneman Manufacturing Company, formerly known as Stanley Company for 24 years, followed by her employment and retirement after 20 years at Chambersburg Dental Associates.

She was a beloved mother, wife, sister, and grandmother, leaving a void her family cannot fill. She enjoyed her morning coffee, flower gardening, vacationing at the beach, camping with her family, and was an avid Penn State football fan. She also enjoyed time with her J. Schoeneman lunch bunch friends and catching up on social media with her former co-workers, extended family, and friends.

Barbara is survived by her husband of 48 years, William W. “Bill” Noll, Jr. of Shippensburg; two daughters, Lisa White and husband Jamie of Shippensburg, and Amy Shively and husband Jim of Shippensburg; three grandchildren, Tanner White and fiancé Kataya Rogers, Payton White, and Madison Shively; and one sister, Sharon Love and husband George of Chambersburg.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter; one granddaughter, Lydia Sue Shively; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 27, 2025 at 10:30 a.m. at Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc., Shippensburg with Rev. Harold E. Yeager officiating. Burial will follow in the Spring Hill Cemetery. A viewing will be held Wednesday evening from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service on Thursday.
