Arlene Regina McBeth, 90, of Shippensburg, passed away Monday, September 30, 2024 at the Mercy House of Chambersburg.

Born Saturday, August 25, 1934 in Little Cove, Franklin County, she was the daughter of the late Frank James and Ethel Mae (Shives) Williams.

She was a 1952 graduate of Mercersburg High School. Arlene worked as a bookkeeper for ASBA Manufacturing in Greencastle, with 20 years of service, and later retired from DRMO Letterkenny Army Depot with 25 years of service.

Arlene was of the Lutheran Faith. She was a former member of the First Court Chapter # 470 Order of the Eastern Star. She was a collector of antiques and other collectables, and enjoyed bowling.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Marlin Eugene McBeth whom she married December 18, 1971; one brother, Bill Williams, Mercersburg; one brother in-law, Galen McBeth, Dillsburg; and four nieces and nephews, Greg McBeth, Julie Halterman, Lark McClure, and Jenny Febbo.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, James Williams.

Funeral services will be held Monday, October 7, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. in the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium Inc., with Pastor Andy Ficks officiating. Burial will be in Parklawns Memorial Gardens. A viewing will be one hour prior to the service on Monday, at the funeral home.
