Anna Marie Yohe, 85, of Shippensburg, died on the evening of Wednesday, August 14, 2013, at the Chambersburg Hospital.
She was born on January 16, 1928, in Orrstown, a daughter of the late Hubert and Bertha Seacrest Starr, Sr. Anna was of the Catholic faith.
She was a homemaker throughout her life and was very family oriented, dedicating her life to caring for her large family. She liked to attend the Life Lutheran Center, Chambersburg, for various activities.
Anna is survived by six children, Donald (Glenda Branthafer) Yohe of Upper Strasburg, Richard (Cindy Foster) Yohe of Lebanon, Charlene (David) Yohe of Canada, Marveena Yohe of Shippensburg, Marvin Yohe of Chambersburg, and Kevin (Amanda Daley) Yohe, Sr., of Chamberbsburg; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild; five brothers; and one sister.
In addition to her parents, Anna was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbur Yohe; one son; and one daughter.
Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Monday, August 19, 2013, at the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home, Inc., Shippensburg. The Rev. Harold E. Yeager will officiate. Interment will be in the Air Hill Cemetery. Viewing will be one hour prior to the services on Monday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Life Lutheran Center at 840 Fifth Ave. Chambersburg, PA 17201.
