Anna M. Wiser

Anna M. Wiser, 93, of Shippensburg, passed away Tuesday, February 18, 2025 at The Bridges at Bent Creek Mechanicsburg, PA. 

Born October 16, 1931 in Shippensburg, she was a daughter of the late Albert and Ruth Myers.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Wiser, Jr.; her brother Glenn Myers; and her sister Louise Commerer. 

Anna was a member of the Shippensburg First Church of God and a member of Cumberland County Farm Women #3. She worked at the former Richards Textiles and owned/operated Wiser’s Tropical Fish with her husband. She graduated from Shippensburg Area High School in 1949. 

Anna is survived by daughters Susanne Wanner, Duluth, GA and Patty (Tom) Lebo, Carlisle; three granddaughters and four great-grandchildren. 

Funeral services will be held Monday, February 24 at 2:00 PM at the Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home & Crematorium Inc. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the services. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery.
